These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Ingredia mobile and web application (the “Service”) operated by Ingredia (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Ingredia. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable Use

When using Ingredia, you agree not to:

Violate any applicable law or regulation.
Submit false, misleading, or harmful content (recipes, reviews, comments).
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems.
Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service.
Harass, abuse, or threaten other users through comments or messages.
Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of recipes, photos, comments, and other content you submit (“User Content”). By posting User Content, you grant Ingredia a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and distribute it within the Service. You represent that you have the right to share any content you post.

5. Recipes & Nutritional Information

Recipe suggestions, nutritional estimates, and ingredient information provided by Ingredia are for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any dietary need. Always check ingredient labels and consult a healthcare professional for medical dietary advice. Ingredia is not responsible for allergic reactions, food-borne illness, or other health issues arising from recipes used through the Service.

6. Third-Party Services

Ingredia integrates with third-party services including Google, Apple, and Kroger. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or actions of any third-party service.

7. Grocery Pricing & Cart

Grocery prices displayed in Ingredia are sourced from the Kroger API and may not reflect the exact price at checkout. Prices can change at any time. Ingredia is not a retailer and does not process grocery purchases directly — we simply help you build a cart with your connected Kroger account.

8. Intellectual Property

The Ingredia name, logo, design, and underlying software are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service except as expressly permitted.

9. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that is harmful to other users or the Service. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at the email below.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INGREDIA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
